BFBC2 - Who plays?

You can't run diagonally. So you can strafe, or run forwards, but not both at the same time. Going back to BC2 after any other modern FPS is really jarring at first.

Battfink from the EA UK forums? I remember you, didn't you get banned?

I enjoyed BC2, it wasn't well enough supported to really excell, and the maps were a bit frustrating in their design, but it eclipses BF3/BF4 in pretty much every aspect.

After this thread, I've re-installed and updated, seems no ranked servers any more, unckeck that box and lots appeared!

Good game, better than I recall in fact, much more fun / less of a frag fest than BF3 / 4 imo.

,90% of the regulars got banned by the time EA dropped the hammer and moved everythiung to battlelol

PP2K is still amazeballz in BC2,and their is just as much butthurt on PC as consoles lolol

Everyone got banned one time or another from EAUK from CrazyCanuck who then a couple of years later apologized and explained his actions on MordorHQ.

I do hope the forthcoming DLC for BF4 includes Heavy Metal and some other BC2 maps, but then I guess they need to save those "re imagined maps" for Bad Company 3.

If there is definitely a regular bunch of people playing then I will re-install the game again, if not then this game will remained locked in my brains closet of good memories.

I just remember shooting at Red triangles a lot. I played a lot of bfbc2. It was a real game changer when it came out, but it has some rough edges. I'll be leaving this one in the past, with good memories.

I'd play this over BF3 and 4 but the lack of vehicle sens slider means its unplayable for me. I dont have a DPI switcher on my mouse either. Lazy port is lazy. But love this game still.
