Buying a bed from Dreams

Can you pick up from the store that day and assemble at home, or is it a delivery in 3-5 weeks jobbie?

This is a guess but I doubt it. Their backroom would have to be huge!

Bought our new mattress on a Sunday, it was delivered 5 days later on the date of my choice.

You can collect your order from one of their warehouses if you have ordered goods in-store.

The stores are showrooms, all the stock is in the warehouse. I'm guessing there might be one or two special offer / end of line items that might be available for store pickup.

Thanks for the replies. We will be going in to the store tomorrow anyways to see but just wanted a little heads up for if its going to take weeks to deliver!

They are known as 'Nightmares' in my house, had nothing but major trouble with our last bed, would never ever use them again, awful company!

Complete opposite is Benson Beds, had excellent service from them, did all they said they would and when they promised, and they even gave a massive discount without us even asking!

Thats good to know. We are looking at few other places too but dreams was the only place not saying how long delivery takes. My first choice is an local place but they dont have any reviews so bit worried about that...

I too am from Southampton, it was a combo of the local store in Eastleigh and their HQ, never again.

We used the Bensons Beds in Hedge End

The one Ive been looking is MNT beds in totton. Will look in to Bensons Beds too then

Checkout the Bed Shed as well (part of the Dunelmills shop behind PC world) they are the outlet shop to Bensons, and they can even order any bed you like from Bensons as they share the same order system.

We found a bed we liked in Bensons, then ordered from the outlet at a massively reduced price (frame was new, mattress was ex-display), saved a fortune

Never knew about that place even with all the searching I've done today! Those beds are pretty amaizing prices, I think it will be the first place we go tomorrow.

Dreams were a complete PITA to deal with where as Bensons were a Dream

We bought a bed from dreams a few years ago which collapsed one morning when I sat on it to put my socks on (much to the amusement of the gf).

I called them up and they sent someone out fairly quickly to fix it and it's been fine since, so they're not all bad

We did go with dreams in the end as they had the best price for what we wanted and not too long delivery time. So shall see how things go. We didnt get a mattress as our old one is a really good one.
Did go to all the shops today and dreams was the last shop we went so looked around quite a bit.
