Do I join the darkside

Ive just jumped from a HTC M7 to a S5 for the missus, and from a S4 to Sony Z2.

Love the Sony build quality and battery life, the software has lightly been fettled with by sony, but its not detrimental to performance. I can see this phone being a keeper for 2 years.

The wifes S5 is a nice phone, its quick and has a superb cam, but it feels cheap and plasticy.
 
How long have you been with your provider?

I recently upgraded my phone with Orange. After much wrangling and speaking to their retentions team I managed to get a Note 4 for the princely sum of £16 and £35.99 per month (24 month contract) The package is unlimited calls and texts with 2GB of data.

The M8 lasted days (only because it was a weekend lol). The top of the glass screen where you'd pull down the notifications was higher than the plastic top piece where the speaker is located, so every time I pulled down the notifications it grated my finger against the glass edge, annoyed me no end, had 2 like it so gave up. Shame really as otherwise it'd be an amazing phone, great speakers, great battery life, lovely quality screen image and great price atm in Vodafone, just couldn't get past that issue?

I'm back on the Nexus 6 where I'm going to stay, same quality speakers as the M8, lush big screen, stock Android is great and much better camera than the M8 :)

I had the same issue with the M8 buddy but only on one of my (many :rolleyes:) units.

Glad you're enjoying the N6 though, I haven't got my hands on one yet!

- Large Battery which does last
- Turbo charging
- Wireless Charging
- Huge beautiful display
- Latest OS
- Will Get updates Fast
- Front facing stereo speakers (These really are great!)
- Very good camera with OIS
- Exceptional build quality


I know it looks big but after a few hours it will feel normal and after a few days the size will no longer bother you. You'll love the media experience!

02 doing it for £20 upfront cost then £38 for Unlim texts/min with 2Gb Data....i know from experience they cap at the lower end is 5gb (if you want more) but if you wanted the standard 2Gb you could knock a fiver off the tariff easy which would make it £33p/month
 
Darkside? I would say you are joining the rebels if anything :p

I currently use the Xperia Z2 which is a good phone and would recommend it (My only gripe is that it doesn't feel as ergonomic to use compared to my S3), but the Z3 is even better so if that is an option, it may be worth looking into.

Not the dark side or the rebels, it's joining the great unwashed masses.
 
I still have an iphone 4s :P but had the same simplicity contract since 2010 :D

downside is i don't get a new phone but just wait for the newer iphones to come out and get the 5etc :D though the 6+ is Nice!!!

Mrs has moto G and id get one if i went android

Exactly, there's no need to buy top tier Android phones when you can get the Moto G.
