OK.. So (hypothetically speaking) lets say I live in an area where certain undesirable behaviors are being exhibited by certain sub-cultures of people who happen to be of a certain race. The fact that I can base certain actions to a particular race of persons is not based upon prejudice but empirical evidence... While I realise that the sample size is small, I am also sufficiently educated to realise that it is statistically significant and not just a fluke or coincidence.
If the above is true and I associate a negative behaviour with a race then, I must, by definition be racist right? How can I negate such a mindset? I know it is wrong however all the evidence I have suggests it is a logical conclusion to make based upon my observations.
