Back to work blues

Going back to work I'm not bothered about, but setting the alarm for 6:30 again... ouch.

I'm going to need a LOT of coffee tomorrow.

I have a 6 week old and a 2 year old at home so I can't wait to get back to work for a break. I'm exhausted after 2 weeks "off"!

Yep got them big time. Laying here in bed dreading waking at 6am after 2 weeks ofF work going bed at 3am and waking at 10am. Going to be hell this week, really depressing.

I would LOVE to be off for two weeks. Only had boxing day off and the weekends!

Same here,except i don't even get a full week end off due to starting early hours Sat and monday morning.

I'm sort of glad Xmas is over now though,The Xmas music started doing my head in.

Off to Jamaica before too long though, worth it

The offices around us, Payroll, HR etc had the full 2 weeks off. I just had the 3 bank hols off, which I understand is still quite generous, but we have to man a complaints dept. Got 5 days AL to use up before NY and end of March.

The trick is to book the first week back off as holiday

I did this.
And I still have this year holiday allowance.

Even though I worked last week I'm also feeling the blue's, it's not just back to work it's back to the full week grind. No bank holidays, no half days... just the same 8-6 bleh.

My christmas break was spoiled by citylink going bust and being called and emailed like a billion times from work and ex citylink customers from about 8am christmas day to 10pm last night.

I look forward to the christmas break all year as its the one time when I get to see my brothers and sisters and its been ruined by work this year.

I'm back to work this morning and I feel like I have some sort of Holiday Hangover and nearly cried when I headed to my tshirt drawer but then remembered I needed to suit up

I was back to work last Friday - but decided to ease myself back into it by working from home

Didn't make it any easier getting up at 4.30 to get the train down to London

Yeah, company going bust, customers not getting their orders, 2000 now out of work and you had to do your job by answering the phone. Tough times.
