Just seen on the news... there's been a shooting at the French Satirical Magazine that published the cartoons of Muhammad. Reports currently varying between 1 and 11 dead (10 according to Sky News)

What is it bout Islam that makes otherwise normal people want to murder other people for publishing a drawing of a prophet?

Why do Christians not go on crusades at pictures of Jesus?

So they posted a picture saying "Best Wishes" to a ISIS Leader?

Is that like a "best wishes, hope you die soon" type best wishes?

I get that it is a satirical magazine but having never read it I don't fully understand what standpoint they adopted.

I'm guessing that due to the shooting they took a "wipe them off the planet" style standpoint.

Dangerous ground with magazines like that but still a horrible thing to happen.

It is weird how certain brands of Islam does tend to bring out the 'nutter' in people though. I guess we will never know whether these people would have done such a thing anyway, however I am guessing not otherwise we would see a lot more attacks such as these for no particular reasons elsewhere in the world.

Sky News:"The masked gunmen were armed with heavy weaponry; Kalashnikovs and a rocket launcher. Two unarmed police officers then arrived on bicycles, and then left. The gunmen knew to go to the second floor of the building. After killing 11 people, the gunmen got away in a car"

[This same magazine was fire bombed in 2012.]
