MSI R9 290 4GB Gaming - SLI?

Hey lads, if I've got MSI R9 290 4GB GAMING and I want to do CF do I need exactly the same r9 290? or can be r9 290 from any manufacturer?
 
So I can buy even any standard R9 290 and my gaming card clock will go down to match the worse card ye?

Any 290 or 290X card will work fine and both cards can operate safely at different clock speeds.
 
wow really? I thought that has to be exactly the same card.

example
r9 290 gaming 1300 clock
r9 290x 1400 clock

they work both fine and increase my fps sure?

I ve got seasonic 620w I guess that wont be enough for my 2x r9 290. what psu should I buy

A good 850W (by good it meants not just the branding, but the unit itself have good reviews as well...so avoid Corsair) or ideally a good 1000W depending on the rest of your system.

SuperFlower's PSU or EVGA (OEM is SuperFlower as well) are your best bet. Seasonic and Enermax PSUs are also very good quality, but they tends to be more expensive.

Really! That will work fine.

Your psu will need upgrading though. I'd be looking at a decent 850W unit as the bare minimum. A 1000W unit from Superflower would give you some overclocking headroom.

Will i5 2500k at 4.5ghz bottleneck 2x r9 290? 4K resolution
Necessary to go for an i5 4690 or smth?
 
Don't worry. I do not expect 60FPS in Crysis 3. I want 40 FPS in Diablo3 or FIFA 15 and I be happy.

For 4K res, I think the Crossfire 290 would still be the bigger bottleneck than the overclocked i5 2500K.

If you were using the overclocked i5 2500K with say a crossfire/trifire 290 setup for 1920 res, then yea you should be worried about bottleneck...but for 4K res, it's not something you'd should have to worry about.
