There is only one Taken film... I haven't seen the sequel and I don't intend to. Some films are just better as a standalone film, for example: The Matrix, The Mummy, Robocop, Highlander, Dumb and Dumber - all were fine as standalone films.

Wow, really? I saw the trailer and thought it had genuine promise to be decent. I watched the abortion that was Taken 2 at the cinema and I thought 3 looked to be a hell of a lot better. Guess not

Might as well watch the first again

Pretty bad. The cuts in scenes are so fast i lost all perception of the overall picture sometimes.

I watched it last night and thought it was awesome. Just need a fourth and it will be on par with the lethal weapon series.

There were some questionable effects and the plot was more complicated than it needed to be (for an action film) but the actual action was solid, we got car chases, gun fights ,explosions, bad guys in just their underwear, a smart cop connecting the dots. You name it, this film has it.

Tak3n was an 8/10 in the action movies category! For reference tak1n 9/10, tak2n 7/10
