Shooting at French Satirical Magazine

Other people spotted it too :p

They are now saying the guys hurt in the legs were shot in a gun battle, why cant they just watch the footage!
Its pretty clear!

go back and read the posts again and see who posted it first ;) Not a dick measuring contest, I was just simply posting about how turd the news sources are are reporting events accurately.

Can someone clarify, as I haven't been paying attention 24 hours ago or so.
Initially they said three attacked the newspaper, and then two brothers have been chased since. The third man named at the time, was named on social media, and following this walked into a police station and was arrested.

Why has this chap not been mentioned since? Was he ruled out? Was he stated to be involved and not mentioned since so it doesn't have any impact on any subsequent court case? Or have they now decided there were two in the shooting, just the brothers?

I was not competing, just saying its clear to see, and many others have seen it, it seems odd that no one on the news was picking it up!

What is going on with the woman suspect?!

They should've thrown smoke and gone in with thermal vision! I do that in BF4 all the time!!! ;)

Truly though, don't visit the comments section on the Daily Mail articles. There's a good mix of 'what should have happened' thrown in with the quintessential moan at British policing for good measure. Idiots.

Wallhack and AWPed him through the wall, no need to go in at all.

Well that spec ops dude near the car fires off loads of rounds into the doorway so I wonder if the flashbang was thrown in and then kicked back out by the suspect or something? If you watch the video, you can see his weapon discharging some serious rounds just before the explosion.

Was wondering if they were trying to break the glass as there focus seems to be on breaching the right hand pane and maybe overcooked it a bit. Though the angle of the explosion gives the impression of originating from something being thrown towards them.

Dunno what he was firing but definitely some serious suppression fire going on from that guy at the back.

Just read that there were no hostages in the warehouse with the 2 brothers, more a guy hiding in the warehouse while relaying info to the security forces.

This I understand, but they would have had analysts back in studios watching the same footage 50 times over looking for other angles

And also, this news about the 2 gunmen coming out firing.....yeah maybe 60 seconds after the initial explosions. We can clearly hear the single AK rounds being fired long after the initial explosions.

I imagine it's harder trying to analyse and talk about footage on live TV than it is for you at home.

Ian Woods on Sky News said earlier that he couldn't see the pictures we were seeing, and the camera zoom lens had a far better view than his naked eye, and that he'd go back to watch them in the satellite van as soon as we cut to a different correspondent.

Reuters: police source says at least four hostages at #Paris supermarket are dead

I really do hope the French forces hand was forced regarding the storming otherwise it was a appalling decision, one I feel could have had political influence :(

RIP victims

Not seen it confirmed but supposedly they told them to run (the staff) with the claim that they "don't kill civilians".

Will be interesting to hear about how the brothers are connected to the people in the supermarket incident and whether this was a coordinated attack.

RIP to all hostages killed. Sad news especially after the early apparent success of the mission.

Yeah apparently. To me it seems the brothers had planned to attack Charlie Hebdo's office and then had an escape strategy whereas the attack on the supermarket is obviously more of suicide mission. Both groups objectives do seem quite different.
