Of course it's an extremely difficult situation but it's not unfair to say it's been handled pretty badly considering the information and video evidence we have seen!!

Yeah you'd have sorted them out. You should have phoned up the police and told them how many times you've earned prestige in call of duty they'd have rushed you to the front line.
 
So right now, the number of hostages seen in photo escaping + the four hostages apparently dead = More than the 6 hostages we thought they had.

And there's one dead terrorist at the supermarket, with no idea of the female terrorist (was she even there?) and apparently a second terrorist who was there but now disappeared.
 
A lot of reporters seem to be laughably clueless when it comes to firearms, and most other things for that matter.

It seems a lot of them can't even identify the iconic AK-47.
 
Can someone summarise what's happened today please?

I flicked the news on briefly earlier and they were saying that another person was holding hostages as a sort-of protest?

The dead are most likely from the initial hostage taking, that is what has been reported rather than deaths occurring when the storming took place.
While it may come to light that people died or were injured during the assault, thus far the only source for info that people died during the storming, and that a gunman escaped is you. You are the source of this information.

I'm simply (if you bothered to read) realying information that is being reported in the media (Even quoting it WORD-4-WORD)!

ANd then going on to agreeing and hoping like another poster that it's actually a bit of miss-information which seems to be rife espicially with the lame Sky reporting which is the one claiming an escaped gun man / terrorist!

Who cares? They're just talking heads. Their job is to just to talk to camera without saying 'erm'.

This forum has an unsavoury amount of arrogance towards people who don't know about guns and cars.

Kouachi brothers cornered and trapped in a industrial estate

Guy who shot policewoman dead yesterday took a number of hostages (numbers not known) in a Kosher supermarket

Police stormed both groups. 3 (maybe 4) gunmen killed in total and 4 hostages. Number of hostages freed.

?unidentified body which could be the forth gunman or unknown hostage...also questions about perhaps a forth gunman may have escaped.
