Overclocking 4770k help

So ive looked into overclocking my i7 4770K, but not sure where to completely to start, any advice/guides/tips would be appreciated

What motherboard, cpu cooler do you have ?

Theres many guides out there, you wanna find one on the same make mobo as you so it uses a similar bios, will be easier to follow then.

Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
I have the reg cpu fan cooler it came with the CPU, but i may install this big heatsink I have, or buy H80i soon.

I'm still nervous in Overclocking, just worried incase i mess anything up ugh

Install the big cooler you have first, the stock coolers can just about cope with stock speeds.

Then just follow the guide, its hard to break anything, if your not sure about anything in the guide just ask in the forums to make sure.
