OcUK Detectives/reported death in Sydney

There is not even the smallest possibility that a doctor would end a text informing of a death. Not ever.

The first thing our doctor friend said, I don't think it's enough to tell Jake yet though. I have contacted Human Services.

No one is picking up her phone (it rings) and we haven't had any replies to messages - I don't know when the last time Jake tried but the message we received from the doctor was just before New Year's Eve.

That's my worst fear, it could very well be, at this stage I simply don't know. Spending a few hours of my life finding out what happened/proof of life saves Jake the additional turmoil and grief, most of his family believe she's dead. I don't want to go rocking in calling shenanigans with just the supposed doctor text, if she is actually dead.....well I'm sure there are many colourful ways to finish off that sentence.

so everyone thinks shes dead because of one text supposedly from a doctor?

Methinks there is more to this story than is being told, plus this 'message' was two weeks ago, and to someone who wasn't family?

It's been a series of texts over a couple of weeks leading up to New Year from her and the friend accompanying her to hospital (I believe her phone and the friend have 'confirmed' her dying). I'm really not hiding anything just for the fun of it, yes I have left some details out but they aren't really relevant. I simply need to find out if she's dead or she/a theif is having us on. If I can find a deifintive source that records and publicises all deaths in Sydney and NSW, I will happily pass the information on to Jake.

It started out with her been taken to hospital, having internal bleeding, in a critical condition and so on. At no point was any of this dubious, only the doctors message sparked some doubt.

Literally 2 minutes on google, prob better than 2 weeks of greiving over a possible hoax

Couldn't the embassy give you some help confirming if she has been admitted to hospital? They could also probably help you liase with local police if you feel her to be at risk

I did believe it as when Jake's family believed it to be and told me, questioning it wasn't are the forefront of my mind. Once I heard details, a few of us began to be dubious.

I know nothing about this girl when it comes to friends and family.

Regarding Jake finding out via friends/family out there - I ask this question frequently. The proof we have since found regarding her being very much alive could be seen as circumstantial, my hands are tied until something more concrete is found.

It is a very frustrating situation, trust me I know. I have done all I can.

Guess I should have said I'm in Sydney, the biggest hospital here is just a up the road. Most accidents go there. If I can help just let me know.

I found where she works and tried ringing a few times, they transfer me through (office and mobile) but haven't got further than it ringing out.
