Fair enough. I'm trying very hard not to ramble on about consistency theory, heuristics, and the philosophy of objectivity.

Gonna back the nexus 6, had a play with most of the above and for me sofware was key. I am a massive stock fan.

Bang for buck award gotta be the one plus one if yours was a working one.

Not even a single mention of the Moto X 2nd gen.

Soo many things could have been done better on that phone. I wanted it but it failed miserably. A massive disappointed compared to Moto X 2013.

It needed a better camera, atleast a 64GB option or sd slot, better batterylife, stereo front speakers.

Preferably 5" and a fast charger in the box.

@pugwash Thanks for your detailed reply Mate. I found the reseller you may have bought the Vivo Xshot from, however after reading about Google Services not working correctly and other slight issues, I've decided to give the phone a miss for the time being as I like to have things working straight out of the box and even though these issues can be rectified with the help of some research and a little time, unfortunately I'm very busy these days and at the moment unable to do a little research.

Great phone, will possibly give it a go in the next few months when I'm a little free time wise and the next batch of phones possibly don't live up to expectations.

It does have a 64GB option now but everything else is true.

Still rocking my Moto X (2013) and I love it. The only time it ever lags is when apps are updating (weird I know), which is a testament to just how good it is.

Don't think the 64GB is available in the UK though...well not yet anyway.

Can I choose nexus 5 still seeing as Google decided to bring it back to market? :D

Oh and Andy I've just added you on G+ if that's OK, enjoy your videos etc.

I've got a nex 5 but in terms of spec it's not really comparable with some of the other listed phones.

Well with my use I get a full day out the battery no problem. Granted others usage may vary. 32gigs I find ample. Stereo front speakers maybe would be better but due to size they're never going to be of any quality. That said I find the single speaker fine for viewing the odd vid, hands free call or listening to radio occasionally. Even the 5.2" screen isn't an issue. That above all caused me concern before buying one but chassis is kept to a minimum which helps handling. I do have reasonably big hands. I find it a better display than the previous Moto X '13. Yep, camera is ok in good light but poor otherwise.

So not a massive disappointment. I guess my end of term report would say 'good, but could do better' ;)
