It has been a good year for films, this is my top 10 what is yours?

My top 10.

1) Edge of Tomorrow
2) Interstellar
3) Hobbit battle of five armies
4) Guardians of the Galaxy
5) X-Men: Days of Future Past
6) The Equaliser
7) A walk among the Tombstones
8) Sin City 2
9) Gone Girl
10) Lucy

Films I have not seen yet which may have made the list. John Wick,, The Most Violent Year, Wild.

First time transformers never made my list of top 10. Just thought it was pretty weak although it made most of the year at $1 billion+

12 years a slave, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club are all 2013. But doesn't matter i guess, if you watched them this year *shrug*

I was assuming we were going by UK release dates, in which case all the above were 2014 releases. In fact Grand Budapest Hotel didn't come out anywhere until 2014.

ok sorry. you are right. I was being a bit pedantic. Its not like you said die hard 1 or something cause you watched it on sky.

1. Grand Budapest Hotel is the best film I've seen that was released this year.
2. 12 Years a Slave
2. Wolf of Wall Street
Can't really separate those two. Wolf is more enjoyable but its far too long.
4. Dallas Buyers Club

Need to mention a couple of other films.

Lone Survivor, the stuff with the 4/5 man seal team I thought was very good and the battle scenes a highlight.

Blue Jasmine has a great lead performance, the rest of the film is fairly forgettable.
