i would love to build a gaming machine. i was looking at the fx 6300 or the Intel Core i5 4440 bundle on ocuk i am not sure what i can get for my money that is best can u please spec me i would love to play assassins creed unity. I know i am asking for a lot please help me.

List the components your looking to buy and the cash you have to spend, so it's clearer for people.

Ideally you want an i5 cpu 4690k.

If your budget cant stretch that far then an AMD 8320 would be the next step down.

If youre looking to go with your mATX case, it would be best to go with an intel setup. AMD AM3+ socket doesnt really have much of an offering as far as motherboards in that form factor go

WOW! Seems a tall order.

Minimum required CPU, GPU and PSU (you'll need one) blow your budget I think.
As said above, the AMD Micro-ATX mobos look cack and I'm not sure I'd be running an o'c 8320 in a Micro-ATX case (unless you also plan on using it as a hotplate).

To be honest Harrism, check out some of the forums to be sure. I'd hate to see you waste £350 cos it's a lot of brass to gamble with.

A quick look round seems to show horrible problems with stuttering on lower end machines and the GTX750Ti isn't even close to meeting the minimum recommended spec which is GTX680.

Tough call mate, but please don't rush in and regret it. Check around some of the AC forums and see what the real deal is.
Worst comes to worst, £350 will cover the cost of a console. :(

My main aim is to get a decent spec PC without a high spec graphics card as i can get that at later date. i don't mind getting a new case which means i can use a atx board. can i ask how i am able to show my ocuk basket the way it is layed out above

then i will be able to show you all my thoughts.

When do you want to play Assassin's Creed, I guess after you buy a new GPU?

If you have a planned timeframe to get a better GPU in the mix then would it be better for you to wait until all the money is together? Deals and prices change all the time so might probably work in your favour!

The GPU is a waste of £23, the case and psu are no-no's as well.

If you can wait till the end of the February and put all your money together that would probably be better. But with £350 now, I would be setting myself up better to build a more powerful rig.

An 4690k, Z97 & 8GB Fast RAM would be on my shopping list for sure.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM £179.99
1 x Avexir Gold Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17200C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U21331104G-2CEY) - Yellow/Gold Light £65.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97P-D3 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £61.99
1 x EVGA 500W 80 Plus Bronze Power Supply (100-B1-0500-KR) £43.99
1 x Raijintek Arcadia Mid Tower USB 3.0 Case - Black £24.95
Total : £376.91 (includes shipping : ).

The 4690k's have hit £200, so OEM + a cooler make's more sense. (Forgot to add one in the above build).
But would be working my money around that instead.
