Looking at this monitor BenQ GW2760HS 27

I had one. great monitor for the price. No real issues with it. colour uniformity was great, blacks were outstanding. slight orange tint but that seems to subside as the monitor warned up. Found it fine for gaming despite the slow pixel response times, but it's not 120hz screen. desktop image is a bit soft being 1080p @ 27" but otherwise, great monitor. only got rid of mine because i swapped it for a ultrawide :)

Thank you for that info, I need it as a PC monitor, in fact I will need two for my duel display, video editing.

Using this as a PC monitor ( need to get another one btw) and wondering why there's no sound coming from the monitor.
I"ve the 3.5mm audio cable connected from the PC.

Thanks in advance.

Sorted.

I've recommended this particular monitor many times, but nobody ever came back to tell whether they were pleased with the purchase or not. I didn't recommend it to you, but you DID come back. :D

So now that I have a chance, there's one thing I'd like to ask:
The VA panels usually have the off-centre contrast shift, but apparently the GW2760HS has something called "Color Shift-free Technology" (not mentioned in OCUK's product details, though?), which should help with that. Is it working ok? If you move your head when in front of the monitor, do the colors change dramatically (almost like on TN panels, but not inverted, more like changing the hue) or is it pretty much spot on?

or is it pretty much spot on?

Hi, I might not be the best person to ask because I'm using it as a PC monitor for video editing. The monitor, as far as I'm concerned is first class.
I did your wee test and its looks spot on to me.
