Oxford University Press bans use of pig, sausage or pork-related words to avoid offending Muslims

And that's what i really don't understand the hatred for Jews, they are hard working, integrate, industrious, don't try to fundamentally change the countries they move to. I like every Jew i have met and the lies certain people say about them are complete falsehoods.

I spent even more time with Muslims and i can say the complete opposite

If there was 1 billion Jews in the world instead of 1 billion muslims, nobody would notice and nobody would care. And we would probably all be flying spaceships and have terrahertz processors in our PC because of all the Nobel prize winning research they would be churning out 24/7.

Not scooping up body parts with a spoon because someone got offended or threads about banning pigs from books.

Why are you forbidden from eating Pork....

1) A pig is a real garbage gut. It will eat anything including urine, excrement, dirt, decaying animal flesh, maggots, or decaying vegetables. They will even eat the cancerous growths off other pigs or animals.

2) The meat and fat of a pig absorbs toxins like a sponge. Their meat can be 30 times more toxic than beef .

3) When eating beef or venison, it takes 8 to 9 hours to digest the meat so what little toxins are in the meat are slowly put into our system and can be filtered by the liver. But when pork is eaten, it takes only 4 hours to digest the meat. We thus get a much higher level of toxins within a shorter time.

4) Unlike other mammals, a pig does not sweat or perspire. Perspiration is a means by which toxins are removed from the body. Since a pig does not sweat, the toxins remain within its body and in the meat.

5) Pigs and swine are so poisonous that you can hardly kill them with strychnine or other poisons.

6) Farmers will often pen up pigs within a rattlesnake nest because the pigs will eat the snakes, and if bitten they will not be harmed by the venom.

7) When a pig is butchered, worms and insects take to its flesh sooner and faster than to other animal's flesh. In a few days the swine flesh is full of worms.

8) Swine and pigs have over a dozen parasites within them, such as tapeworms, flukes, worms, and trichinae. There is no safe temperature at which pork can be cooked to ensure that all these parasites, their cysts, and eggs will be killed.

9) Pig meat has twice as much fat as beef. A 3 oz T bone steak contains 8.5 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork chop contains 18 grams of fat. A 3 oz beef rib has 11.1 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork spare rib has 23.2 grams of fat.

10) Cows have a complex digestive system, having four stomachs. It thus takes over 24 hours to digest their vegetarian diet causing its food to be purified of toxins. In contrast, the swine's one stomach takes only about 4 hours to digest its foul diet, turning its toxic food into flesh.

11) The swine carries about 30 diseases which can be easily passed to humans. This is why God commanded that we are not even to touch their carcase (Leviticus 11:8).

12) The trichinae worm of the swine is microscopically small, and once ingested can lodge itself in our intestines, muscles, spinal cord or the brain. This results in the disease trichinosis. The symptoms are sometimes lacking, but when present they are mistaken for other diseases, such as typhoid, arthritis, rheumatism, gastritis, MS, meningitis, gall bladder trouble, or acute alcoholism.

13) The pig is so poisonous and filthy, that nature had to prepare him a sewer line or canal running down each leg with an outlet in the bottom of the foot. Out of this hole oozes pus and filth his body cannot pass into its system fast enough. Some of this pus gets into the meat of the pig.

14) According to Jewish law, pork is one of a number of foods forbidden from consumption by Jews. These foods are known as "non-kosher" foods. In order for a meat to be kosher, it must first come from a kosher animal. A kosher animal must be a ruminant and have split hooves - therefore cows, sheep, goats and deer are all kosher, whereas pigs (having only one sign of kashrut) are not kosher.

15) Qur'an, Holy book of Muslims also prohibits consumption of pork.

"He has made unlawful for you that which dies of itself and blood and the flesh of swine and that on which the name of any other than Allah has been invoked. But he who is driven by necessity, being neither disobedient nor exceeding the limit, then surely, Allah is Most Forgiving, Merciful." Why are you forbidden from eating Pork....

A) Your God, who is otherwise perfect, made an animal he later regretted and now hates, thus commands you to not eat them and be offended by even accepting they exist at all.

B) When your Holy books were written famine and starvation was commonplace and given pigs need more land/water, yield less meat per animal and in a time before refrigeration a more likely cause of food poisoning when compared to say Beef or Chicken, the leaders at the time decided to say “God hates pigs” to discourage an uneconomical (for the time) method of farming.

Pigs produce more meat per grain than Beef or lamb, I always thought the reason was

C) In the hot and dry weather of the middle east, Pigs are particuarly prone to disease. Due to the closeness of our physiologies, pig diseases spread easilly to humans. Therefore, don't eat or raise pig in the middle east as it might kill you. Christianity scrapped this rule because it developed in slightly more temporate climates, where the problems of disease was less of an issue

It genuinely make me sad when people not only believe but are willing to be offended by (and even kill for) something for no other reason than it says so in an old book. Rather than thinking about it for a second and coming to the most likely answer.
This is a really weird and awkward post. It says nothing about God hating pigs in any religious scripture.

People talking about things they don't understand, with authority, should make you sad.

The vast majority of this is utter nonsense. You have no idea what you're talking about, and the fact that you're listing fat content as a reason it's bad or forbidden means that no one should take dietary or nutritional advice from you.

You should just stick to the bit where your faith says it's forbidden, and you wish to follow that.

"Our materials are sold in nearly 200 countries, and as such, and without compromising our commitment in any way, we encourage some authors of educational materials respectfully to consider cultural differences and sensitivities."

It works both ways you tards @ Oxford University Press.

There is the unfortunate matter that the land is already settled.

Doesn't matter, we got it off the Turks, and we gave it to the Jews for being awesome. Anyone else is a squatter.
Those millions of Arabs didn't all breed from a few shepards, they all moved there because the Jews made it a nice place to live. Which is what Arabs seem to like doing, moving from their own awful repressive countries into nice ones that other people have built, and then complain when they get there.

Please stop talking, most of that is complete drivel

Is it time for the mods to update the banned word list for the forums?

Yep, the banned list should include:

Muslim
Sharia
Londonistam
Islam
Religion of peace
Towelheads
Immigrants

Although that would stop several people ever posting threads again, not necessarily a bad thing though!

Afaik there's not only no prohibition on talking about pigs in the Quaran in fact surely the book mentions pigs and pig products within the passages that prohibit using pigs or pig products, the editorial board are behaving like a bunch of swine.
