So after a week of searching and trying to decide what's best am even more lost. I want a wireless headset but concerned that after a while the batteries will no longer recharge and I will be left with a dead headset so perhaps wired is better but with being 3.5m from the TV and ps4 I can only see getting a wireless one. I spotted this deal too what's your thoughts guys

A friend has the rage 3d wireless headset and having had a play with it myself a very decent headset. He's had his for a year now and i don't think he has any issues with the battery so far.

i would imagine that will be much better as its a more premium headset compared to his.

The best wireless gaming headset i am aware of is the Steelseries H Wireless but its expensive. The pros though is long batteri time and you get 2 swappable so you always have one ready. The range is pretty impressive to and the sound, well the sound is as good as you can expect from a wireless gaming branded headset i suppose..

LinusTechTips, a dude i hold in high regard as he is always honest about his approach and experience level with a given product, has a review of it -> here <-

PS: Stay away from the corsair 2100, i have myself and they are horrible which is very weird as corsair products are usually really good. They will hurt after a while due to bad ear cups and a high clamping force. batteri cannot be swapped and last 8-10 hours so if you forget to charge them you will have to sit with a mini usb connected which in return causes the headset to have a buzzing when the mic is down and active (a lot are having this issue but apparently not everyone you may get lucky) and the sound quality isnt something impressive either for the kind of money you are paying.

If sound quality is important to you, you can have a look here http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/innerfidelitys-wall-fame-wireless for hifi wireless option instead and then use a different solution for the microphone.

Well am thinking for £110 there isn't much better out there wireless wise anyway or from what I can see. Still unsure what one to get but they all seem to have issues one way or another.
Its confusing!!

Have the headset its brill well build amazing sound easy to set up. Top notch. Just one question I carnt seem to get it to play my own voice back to me during games and chat so I can hear myself. At the min when the game is going nuts and friends chatting am shouting to hear myself

Tick the " Test " in the console, this will enable you to hear what you say even outside of the game.

This is how I did it, when I was still using my Wrath wireless.

Also one of the problem I encounter with this headset is that the headband is clamp and screwed to the earcups in this fragile plastic which can easily break if your not carefull.

3 of my creative Wrath broke the same way.

I don't know if creative had fix this with the Rage version, as the Rage was release after the Wrath, but they look almost identical.
The significant difference that I can see between the Wrath and the Rage is the latter had the updated usb dongle.

Where abouts is test in the console?? I carnt find what you mean.

The area you said about being weak I have looked and and looks to be very strong and screwed well together. These are the latest ones from creative I think they maybe addressed some issues will take couple pics to post up
