Phone dilemma, what to get?

Actually enjoying using my Nexus 5 again, the only let downs are the screen and battery for me. I'd go for the iPhone 6 but 720p for a £600 phone? Please...

Generally someone that slates and Android and then goes to iPhone, I wouldn't worry about. It could likely have been any top end amazing Android device and they wouldn't have got on with it. Some people are like that.

I went from a Nexus 5 (perfect size) to a Z3 compact (too little) to a iPhone 6+ (miles too big) to a Z3 (almost perfect) and out of them all i prefer the stock rom of the nexus but the extra feature on the z3 like camera, battery and build quality knock the nexus into the park.

For me the battery life is only one aspect:

Good Screen - not to saturated
Good Camera - really important
Good Battery Life
As close to Android as it can get ie not too many additonal gizmos
Fast and lag free

I have a n4 - it fails on the camera and the battery so it needs to go. My debate is do I want the same size screen and go for a Z3 Compact or will i prefer to move up to a Z3/HTC etc

I'm neither here nor there, both companies can be as bad as each other. :)

I do like the Nexus 5 but the screen is starting to look dated and the battery life is awful, pretty bored having to carry a charger around with me all the time. Also, I'm not too impressed with Android 5 so I'll sit in the IOS camp for my phone for 12 months or so then have another look.

Had a play with a really techno-backwards friend's phone at work yesterday - it was still on Gingerbread! Made me realise how far Android has come now, I certainly wouldn't say that the OS is an issue any more, in fact I prefer Android.

However, enjoy your iPhone 6 OP, it is also a great phone :)
