Damn that sucks! I bought a T9 as killing things with the Python was too easy and boring, if that had happened to me I don't think I could bring myself to play again. Let me know if the worst happens and you have to start over and I'll drop you some Palladium to get you started.

I was bounty hunting at a NAV point last night. Got another couple of hundred K in bounties. Nothing particularly interesting to report apart from a few player attempted interdictions on the way out and back. I wasn't interested in going toe to toe with them and managed to avoid all of the interdictions apart from one.
The escape vector target was jumping about all over the place (lag I suspect), and I figured I had little to no chance of escape, so just throttled down and prepared to boost and SC away. I seemed to get stuck in the 'throttle down' loop and I never exited SC, so never dropped into the interdiction instance. I had a message from the commander who was attempting to interdict me, but I couldn't do anything to respond.
At that time I was heading back to the station to dock up for the night, so I just quit to the menu, restarted in Solo and docked.

Waiting to see what happens with this ticket.. I've just left it at the insurance selection screen, haven't selected a free sidewinder - just told them what happened and asked to rollback, I set the ticket as "unable to play" which apparently goes to a higher *thing* but hell knows if anyone will deal with it...
I did so much grinding to get to where I am, I can't stomach the thought of doing it again, probably the best part of 3-4 weeks tbh..
The other half of me thinks, if I exploded for some actual reason because I was at fault (hell knows what as I got ZERO warning and was simply docking) then I'm kinda tempted to take it as a challenge and get back to it......
annoyed as hell though, whatever you do - if you have a big expensive ship, check the damn rebuy/balance before you leave the station... (can't believe i'm even saying this after laughing at all the other people who'd fell foul of it)
I had my first death last night, leaving a station, boosted out of the letterbox, and BOOM! There was nothing on the sensors before I left, and nothing visible on the screen, until I hit it.... Bye bye Asp 
Fortunately, insurance was covered, lost about 25t of rares and 700 odd k insurance, so not all bad.
Needless to say, I now leave the station at a more leisurely pace...
Struggling to find a decent trade route though (other than rares), guess I need to be more organised and make notes.... just too lazy.

Got myself blown up Wednesday night, but I knew that was coming - was just figuring stuff out.
Took on another bounty last night, went searching. After a while of not finding, I started picking on random "Wanted" people. First one easy, second a little tougher.
Third, was going great, was laying into him, and didn't seem all that bad. Got him down to 33% hull. Then suddenly it's super pilot and takes me out in no time.
Another ships lost, and still on almost no credits
I had no idea at that point how I would collect bounties on these wanted people I had not selected a mission for, but was going to worry about that later.

back online with my type-9, basically they just let me claim it as insurance, lost about 1 million but it's better than losing 103 million lmao..
pretty impressed, raised the ticket last night - fixed at 9:30am whilst I was at the shop! I was expecting it to take about 2-3 weeks...

If you look in your transactions tab, it will list the bounties you can collect and the faction who will pay the bounty (such as Federation, Alliance, Empire). To collect, simply dock in a faction controlled station, go the Station menu and Contacts, then choose Local Security Offices (I think - don't have the game to hand). You can then claim the cash.
Some independent factions and corporations can place bounties, and it can sometimes be a chore to work out where to go to collect them, so if it's only a couple of grand, it's probably not worth the time/fuel to cash them in.

about 50 million, to get one plus insurance, but I might go a bit over, I also might glaze over before then
My current route is netting 7Mil per hour (Palladium one way, marine equipment the other) about 1.2 mil every 10 mins.
I need to take a day off for this some time soon...

I've actually been climbing mountains in Scotland since Monday ( was supposed to have the whole week off) but the weather got so bad I came home yesterday, so i've had 2 days of nothing to do

not gonna tell you my exact route,
but if you go to BD-02 4304, or Amahu, buy Palladium or gold, then go to any of the nearby systems, you should get about 1500-1650 profit per ton, plus something to take back, a lot of people are trading this route and I already have a fortune, so I don't mind giving away the general locations
all the routes I use I find on thrudds/slopeys,
not gonna tell you my exact route,
