Any one having problems with q-fan.

Ive got a x99-s and set up q-fan in the BIOS on the cpu fan.
When you boot into windows it works great, as it should speeding up and down with the temperature.

But put the machine to sleep, then when you wake the fan spins straight up to 100% and stays there until you reboot.

Is this common on all the X99 series.

Sleep mode is giving be lots of problems! I install the Asus Ai software just to control the fans and it worked well at first but after a few updates its a total POS. I tried using the BIOS but had problem just like you:confused: I would just like a simple fan control app without all the overclocking bs.

I think Ive figured this out.

Well the issue with the fans spinning at 100% after sleep.

The problem for me only seem to be happening on the White CPU header and the Black CPU_otp header next to it.

If you un install all of the POS AISuite 3
Plug your CPU fan into one of the chassis headers.
You can set it up in the BIOS to speed up slow down dependent on CPU temperature.

I'm presently in the middle of sorting this out with ASUS support.
If at all possible can you confirm this, so I can let them know. As it sounds like a BIOS bug. Or maybe my MOBO has a problem

Thanks
