Must play games for Nintendo 3DS?

I've just bought myself a 3DS that should arrive in a couple of days. The only game it comes with is New Super Mario Bros 2. I also already have Pokemon Omega Ruby.

The last time I knew anything about a DS was when I got a DS Lite for christmas in 2006. I played New Super Mario Bros and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team.

I've heard great things about monster hunter and I will be trying out some of the newer final fantasy/pokemon games as well.

Are there any other must play games for the Nintendo DS?

Virtues Last Reward (Recommend getting 999 first for DS if this interests you).

Phoenix Wright Trilogy and Dual Destinies
Professor Layton vs Ace attorney
Pullblox
Zelda: A Link between Worlds
Luigi's Mansion 2
Bravely Default if you like classic JRPGs.
Smash Bros

There will be others too that I'm sure people will recommend. It can play regular DS games so it may be worth looking through that libriary of games too.

I know that, but it was a genuine heads-up - I didn't know about the new ones until last week...

Yeah I know but I'm not interested in it for the price. The release of the new model is the whole reason I got a 3DS as it looks some retailers are wanting to clear stock and doing some good deals on the regular 3DS.
