So we have a thread from all the weirdy beardies with their brown cord trousers and leather patches on the elbows of their tweed jackets so time for a thread for normal folks :p ;)

A few of mine

Staropramen
Afligem Tripel ( and the normal Afligem to a lesser extent )
Sagres (and Super Bock) making a hol in Portugal always good
San Miguel
One that might not get approval is Heineken when served well (basically in Amsterdam)
Presidente

I am also partial to a lot of Asian lagers

Sapporo
Kirin
Saigon red (and green)
Singha

and the daddy of all lagers KING COBRA (hard to get and expensive though)

Also, Affligem Tripel isn't a lager - it's a tripel! It's awesome but completely different to all the horrible lagers you've listed :p

(I actually like some of them but I need to keep up appearances, yo)

There's a time and a place for most beers, and sitting on the beach in 80F+ weather with an ice-cold Corona is one of them :p

no idea what a Tripel is other than when I was in a hotel near Lyon where I stay a lot they substituted normal Afligem for the Tripel one night, 5 pints later ..................

i seem to drink a whole host,

from the usual supermarket larger

Heinken
Red Stripe
Grolsh

more specialist is the likes of

Erdinger and so on

Harp lager, brewed by guinness. Only local decent lager. All we get round here in most bars is tennents, stuff thats made in scotland and most of my scottish friends/relatives wont even drink it.

Korev from St Austell brewery was pretty good actually, had a fair few over the summer last year :p

Rarely drink lagers, sometimes some of the special black vienna lagers.
There are a few genuine muncher hell lagers that I drink in summer if they can can be found, which is not often: Weihenstephaner from is a favourite Staatsbrauerei, also
Spaten-Franziskaner.

Most lager is just tasteless and way too fizzy.

Try the King Cobra I mentioned in OP. having said it's hard to get I picked some up at Morrisons today, £6 for a 750ml bottle though, it's brewed as a beer then fermented like champagne
