I love a good debate and never shy away but some here just get so seriously wrapped up in first world problems and get quite personal. No need for it and they wouldn't be like that if they were face to face.

It takes a big man to admit when he is/was wrong but some just can't do it. For the record, I have done it a few times now :D I don't mind holding my hands up when I am wrong and openly saying it.

This isnt twitter, the whole wall of text thing is boring as hell. find something new to complain about, like the actual contents of his posts or something.

this whole thread's just one big irony overload anyway. God it's actually pathetic and yes i know i could just not post but yes i also care enough to get angry and say something about it. FFS, i might not agree with DM at times but one thing i don't do is complain about the length of his posts. You know, because i obtained more than a basic grasp of literacy before I hit the age of 10.

Exactly right. On a discussion board I like a mix of views and opinions and that means I appreciate it when some people string together more than 140 characters, because I too have the intelligence to read these posts. If I'm not interested I have the capability to skim through them and not waste time, or simply not read them at all.

I'm certainly not ignorant enough to criticise someone for writing too much and hope that DM continues to post as he is, as his contributions are far in excess of pretty much everyone else on these forums, whether you agree with him or not. Oddly enough, nearly 100pc of my time on these forums is done via a phone, yet I don't struggle to read the content.

I would say intelligence is knowing that reading forums on a phone in portrait makes even a few hundred words look like an essay, because on my phone at least that limits me to less than 10 words per line. 10. drag. Intelligence is knowing its the phone having that affect, not the content you are reading.
 
Couldnt agree more mulps.

In fact all this thread has done is cement who doesnt like DM. Sometimes I wonder where the moderation lies on this Graphics forum, getting personal so often should be dealt with if people cannot act as adults.

If you dont get on with the guy just ignore his posts and everyone will have less drama to read about!

Scrolled passed the lot of his posts as 99% of them are filled with tripe mainly to increase his word count to confuse simpletons the he knows what the **** he's talking about.

. You know, i know it's O/T but i was going to post some screenshots showing just how much a tiny portrait screen can bend your perception on the length of a piece of text. But, you know, you all use phones and PCs anyway so you all already know this.
 
If we must go through this charade, can you please quote exactly where I said that you used the words "they don't know how to make cpus" because I cannot find it.

Better still why don't you come round, because I've just put the kettle on, you could sit down and I'll make you a nice cup of Shut the Hell UP.
