Nice place to sit and spend time too. Done 60K ish in mine, though in the last 8 months about 2K which is excellent as I live on trains these days

Yes and no, aesthetically it is but whats with the awful cheap plastic they fitted to the LCI wheel, no idea why they did that.

Which awful cheap plastic? I find this wheel to be one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of using. Buttons and switches are well placed and responsive and the rim is shod in really nice leather and is a nice thickness.

Mind you none of this is really relevant to the OP who has stated it will be a base spec so it won't be an M-Sport wheel, multifunction dash or the full size nav screen...

Are they all similar cost and car tax? Worth getting to a dealer if you can, the c class is impressive. 5 isn't far off replacement along with the XF. Can you hold out for an XE

Mostly around the buttons though this was in a 2014 520d M Sport so you've probably got actual buttons in place of the cheap plastic blanks on a 520d hence not noticing it I guess. Though the silver plastic around the M Sport logo isnt great either, creaks when you touch it.

Might be the case that the 6 has a better one, but was not impressed with the one in the 520d.

I have a similar choice to make soon. My company have something called the Zenith car ownership scheme. Anyone have any experience of this?

Anyway. The reference cars are Mazda 6 or Passat but all the guys have upgraded to 5 series or A5's etc. I think I will be looking at a 4 series GC and the new Jag XE.
