You're not tempted by a custom loop? Think of the pretty colours 
Hardest thing for me was to make sure i got everything i need, but putting it together isnt hard, its just time consuming.
Im sure there's a lot of people on here that are willing to help you.

The hardest part is speccing it up. Building it up is almost fool proo . If you can fit a CPU without bending pins and can correctly apply TIM you should find watercoolong easy enough.

It can get expensive pretty quickly, and yes. Its worth it, my rig is SILENT and my load temps on a 290 at 1.35-1.4v is 45-50C, CPU is at 1.35 and hits high 50s. If i actually wanted to do lets say 5ghz and 1300 on the core i would have to up my fan speeds a bit and pump speed, wouldnt be silent but it would be a lot quieter than most rigs that arent water cooled.
Something i don't have a lot of, spare time. At some point i will get a second rig up and running and when i do, i can water cool that. It won't be my main rig though as it gets taken apart constantly.
