Will UKIP win its first seat in parliament tonight?

"Fairer" is not correct term when you want to treat everyone equally badly?

I suggest it wouldn't be treating UK citizens, you know the people whose interests the UK government are supposed to look out for, badly if we can control immigration and let in who we want, not who other countries tell use we have to admit.

We do let in who we want, we agreed to free movement of people within the EU!

Labour have one subject to talk about and one only and that's the NHS anything else is very vague, not everybody in this country thinks the NHS is the most important thing in the world.

Tbf if you are all about one issue Labour might as well bang on the NHS drum as it's 2nd only in importance to the economy for most people. It's more important then the EU at least.

Green Party now have a bigger party membership than ukip and libdem, yet the media still pumping out farage sound bites, democracy at work

UKIP has more MP's and far more Councillors then the Greens, you know, actual positions of power? Membership means squat.

No just the country of birth. Which is bad enough

Everyone within the EU immigration system gets treated equally by UK immigration regardless of where they are born. It is actually other EU countries that discriminate by country of Birth.

The worst offenders are non-EU countries that have an extremely discriminatory immigration system.

2:1 so many more LOL the voting power of 2 is not a position of power.

On a more serious note I would like to know how UKIP supporters feel about losing the NHS given recent comments by Farage. There is a lot of working class support for UKIP which are the people who will be most affected by total privatisation.

UKIP's policy is to keep the NHS free at the point of use. Farage did express a desire to move to a (not ironic at all) European style compulsory insurance model but was outvoted by his party. After Clegg and tuition fees you've always got to be careful about politicians actually sticking to their policies mind.

agreed wasn't startign a fight i was generally interested as like I said I know a lot of people agree with farages anti europe ethos but aren't economically able to survive some of the extremes which would come from long term control by a far right conservative like farage.

OFC I don't expect Ukip to be in charge nor do i expect it to change much as dave and his crooks will set up the sale of the nhs anyway. Losing tory seats to Ukip isn't a concern losing labour or liberal ones is.

This election will do wonders for fixing these "were not so bad/good" centre of the left/Right ******s we have at the moment.

Green will definitely pick up more than people are expecting they are taking the student vote from cleggy I predict a lib dem strong hold like cardiff (not sure which zone but teh student one) to swing green in may,
