Somewhat of a whinge/cry for help.

I logged into my account Sunday without issue however when I logged in later in the evening I must have mistyped one of the characters and after a single failed attempt my password has been suspended :eek:(at least give me two goes come on). Now the only way to reset it is via phone or I'll have to wait a week for a new passcode via post. I've made easily 100+ calls since Sunday afternoon to their 0500007007 number each time getting the "we are extremely busy use the website,bye" message. Rather peeved at the moment(first world problems).

Does anyone know of another number to contact them on? My googlefu is failing me.

I'm sure I've left myself open to abuse here somewhere so crack on :D.

Edit: The 01253 is their sales number however they picked up in about 10 seconds and then transferred me. Now I'm transferred I was actually in a queue rather than being hung up on by a robot. Couple of minutes later I get through.

Thanks again. I will look for a companies sales line in future :D.

I've had the exact same issue as you.
Its incredibly frustrating. The person answers the phone instantly on the 01253 number, when i asked why this one worked and the other didnt, she said its because this is the 'oversees' one.
So basically they have people sitting idly by doing nothing while one phone line is rammed to max capacity. Its because they have the opportunity to get rich oversees customers, who they dont want to scare off with a waiting line.
The annoying thing is that there is nothing you can do to complain, thats the worst.
 
100 times making a call...no wonder you're going mad.

I enjoyed an npower call last year, 45 minutes on hold then I gave up. Pretty clever system, or exploting and completely disgusting!
 
I had read a news story where they monitor the call qeue for expletives in order to put through the people losing their rag quicker but unfortunately despite some choice words it appears nsandi havent implimented that system.

Amusingly I got caught out on virgins help line they picked up just as I made a choice remark lol. "******* hell" "O hi there".

Yet to find a system that does it for all I know it could have been an Internet hoax.
 
They're too busy giving away money to old people who already have spare money.

You need to call them back when someone gives a ****.
