Devices to reduce snoring, *not asking for medical advice*

I've recently found out that i snore loudly every night, only because I keep waking up my girlfriend! I thought I only snored when drunk before now...

I allegedly, according to the Mrs, snore ( ) "we" have tried all sorts but even if she uses earplugs nothing seemed to work.

There are now two things which do work - the first is a second pillow to stop my lying "flat" and angling my head more. This, although uncomfortable until I got used to it, does result in not being jabbed in the back, ribs or face regularly through the night and a good nights sleep for both of us

The second is I go sleep in the spare room ;)

Tape a letter box to your spine and mouth and balls.

Store all your poop in a bucket by your bed

If you snore pour it all through the letterboxes until you learn.

Send yourself back.

Nurse friend of mine suggested getting a cotton bud, bend in half, place ends in nostrils and see if it makes you able to breathe through your nose. I really can't get a breath that way as it's like my nose is blocked full time. So gave it a go and that worked so she put me onto these,

Nozovent

Says if the cotton bud trick works they work a treat!

To ThundyCat, makes no difference how I lay because my nostrils are almost blocked with excess scar tissue, suppose the cotton bud trick pulls that just enough to clear them.

Bah. I'll say again, go to your gp or e.n.t. Specialist and ask for a nebulizer.

They can help keep your nasal cavity and throat moist or, with the aid of medication more relaxed.
