Who else thinks that chances are that tories will create coalition government with UKIP?

it is clear as day that Lib Dems are hopeless, Labour seems to be too weak... Can you imagine Ed being a PM and having access to the nuclear case?

I thought that was an American thing? We just tweet it.

I hope not. As useless as Lib dem seem to be they have balanced it out. Iirc they blocked snoopers charter last time and I'm sure they've done some other things.

Ukip would most likely go along with the snoopers charter as would labour.

More likely a labour/SNP/liberal coalition or a minority government led by the conservatives forming alliances for individual bills. UKIP will hopefully remain a sideshow.

It sounds nearly as bad as a labour \ SNP coalition, albeit for entirely different reasons.

A tory\ukip coalition would be highly socially regressive, a labour SNP coalition would be fiscally incompetent and highly driven by bias against the areas of England that support the rest of the UK.

Both prospects scare me quite a bit.

UKIP will get all of about 3 seats, so no

Oh and we don't have a nuclear case, we can't use our nukes without permission from the White house anyway, plus we shouldn't be spending £20bn renewing them, when apparently there's no money

This post is either ignorant nonsense or dishonest nonsense. Would you like to explain more so we can determine which brand of crap it is?

Even if you took all the labour, lib dem and snp seats from the 2010 election it still isn't enough for a majority. Conservatives are here to stay (the best option at the moment) and I wouldn't be surprised to see another party with them.

That's not what the polls are showing. The British Nate Silver wannabes are predicting a hung parliament with a Labour+Lib Dem+Other coalition being our most likely new government.

Polls didn't show the same outcome at the last election or the one before that ....

I don't think there'll be another coalition, our system is set up to avoid such an outcome remember. Ed will make a perfectly fine Prime Minister, but I rather suspect we'll end up with a Conservative majority government /shudder.

I'm hoping for a Con + UKIP coalition

the alternative is

Labour + SNP

That's right, a bunch of idiot left wingers who doesn't know how to run a **** up in a brewery and a bunch of Scots who hate our guts controlling our country, if that doesn't make anyone vote Con or UKIP you deserve what coming to you

I think it will go back to Labour or Labour/coalition.

I dont even think it matters except the EU situation, everything else is global economics ebb and tide.

they get anywhere between 15-20% in polls, they'll get at least 15 seats in May

That's not enough as that could be distributed across a lot of areas. Lib dems got big percentages in the last polls which didn't result in much.
