2 slot cap Motherboard

2 slot cap

Hi,

is there a 2 slot cap on any Z97 board that would run x8 x8, so i can run crossfire with some breathing space between the cards?
or is it only the X99 boards.
My Asus Maximus VII Hero don't have a big enough cap.

The first one seem to have more of a cap for the 2nd card.. or am I imagining it lol
So I guess I compromise.
I was going to go X99 route, but @ 1080p, 1440p, didn't see much difference in performance wise in games.

Yes the SOC does have 3 vs 2 slot gap.

I'll get the Gigabyte Z97X-SOC Force Intel Z97 then

I'm using the 4770K @ 4.2. Do you see any point going for 4790K ?
