I agree and the Z3 has been a pleasant experience. I wonder what Sony's take on Lollipop will be?

Think on all accounts we'll be holding onto our Z3 phones for longer if the Z4 is more or less the same spec bump the way the Z2 to the Z3 was.

Is anyone using the dk48 magnetic dock along with a z3 compact in a case *and* with a tempered screen ?

I'm due to get my z3 soon with the dock and I'm planning to get the case-mate barely-there or tough case, as they have suitable cut-outs, but I'm wondering if it will still fit with a tempered screen protector...

... any experience with this would be welcomed.
 
Using the dock here with the invisible shield glass protector.

Bought the dock after the screen protector was applied so not sure how much of a difference it makes. Haven't noticed any issues though.
 
not even ordered my phone (Can not up grade until next satruday) and have already ordered the magnetic doc tempered glass cover and case mate case :D cannot wait for a new device to play with. My S3 died just before Xmas and have been using the wifes old S2 and my god its nasty, even running OmniROM it feels so dated.

Count yourself lucky, I'm still using the wife's old BlackBerry Pearl :eek: until my Note 4 arrives that is :p
 
After months of procrastinating the Z3 is finally on it's way to me. Also got the charger that was recommended earlier (ebay), the ultimate screen protector and the case (casemate barely there).

Regarding the memory card - any recommendations in that respect. I've been looking at the Samsung 64gb Evo MicroSDHC UHS-I class 10 but anyone got any other recommendations or thoughts?
 
64gb you're looking at around £20 the 128gb jumps up to +£60/£80 so my thoughts are I have been using 16gb reasonably happy for last 2 years. £20 isn't a big hit to the budget and if the price of the 128gb falls I can then look to that :)

the Samsung 64gb Evo MicroSDHC UHS-I class 10 is exactly what I ordered for my z3c, hasn't arrived yet but it's ok as neither has my nano sim.
 
Yep I went for it. Re the nano sim dependant on when it arrives i'll either dive into a three store to get it or use the cutter I have ordered :)
 
Have people managed to customize their lock screen at all? Want to change the clock and maybe have a weather widget if possible. I have a pin to unlock my phone and a way to hide the number pad with a button would be good.
