Just edited my earlier post with a time to kill comparison between the G3 and the M16.

LOL Dg I'd forgotten about the Alpha and beta UMP, that was the best sniper rifle / SMG / Rifle in the game, OP didn't come close to describing it.

And yes the AUG was a no recoil laser beam aka even easier than the M16 so noobs who couldn't understand how to pull the mouse down had an even easier time.

Oh the hate is real :D manju and stone I'm kidding...awsome ppl have great skill in BF and I don't blame them, I play for fun...my top weapon in bf3 is a sniper rifle over 2k kills and second is magnum .44 :D I am the one in the hills who you can't even see on kill cam cos he is cempin fe**et
 
Ohhhhh yes, although when I got my 2nd account (thanks humble bundle) I did enjoy going on the 24/7 HC server and doing some good ol fashioned reap with the AS-VAL...and ofc trolling the admins as I knew the rules and their sensitivity to admin abuse, quoting rules in chat when the admins were telling me to get out of the heli etc xD

That's my main not one of my 2 humble bundle accounts, at the time Sc and me were still friends so we could joke between us. After the removal of gunner flares hover camping was the only viable heli tactic, ask any good heli pilot / gunner. Cannon range 1000mtrs / TV range 1025mtrs

What that shows is that most people playing on 24/7 didn't have a clue about effective use of the 2nd most powerful asset in the game ;)

Me and SC were on the other team that game.

At 247 no-one cared about how to best tactically play the game, it was a pub server for pub play. You used to non stop knife people, then moved onto defib and we had a great time messing around.
You then got into comp play and fell in love with it which is fair enough, that your thing and you can enjoy it as much as you want. But we weren't into that stuff and we, rather eventfully, went out separate ways.

i trolled with the m320 because it was hardcore so much fun and anger with the " skilltube " :D Grand bizar on B :p just comedy gold. :D


just had a nice round on golmud railway tdm. 87-22. so much mortar rage.
 
Following your example, I have been learning the way of the mortar.

Playing CQL on that level with the under-mountain sub base, I was getting repeatedly sniped by Recons on the mountain while trying to single-handedly hold A. (actually quite useful - it was the only way to get RPG reloads to deal with the boats).

I respawned as support, compensated for the height difference and dropped my first mortar round right on the sniper's head (pure fluke, but I'm happy to pretend it was skill). He immediately swore at me. I assumed he had a beacon, so I waitied five seconds, then dropped the next three mortars in roughly the same area - another kill plus 'equipment destroyed'. He started a votekick against me for 'mortal spam noob loser'.

His own team told him to STFU :D I felt most pleased.
