It be a few months for lottery.
It would be nice to be less selfish and back like 200,000 years and try and advance and steer civilisation to a much different path. Imagine if you could go back then and advance society early in human rights, science, minimize religion. Introduce advance technology in at a very early stage before we get so ingrained in fairy tales.

I dont think there's anywhere in history i could go in merely the clothes i stand that would allow me to successfully make a better life for myself than i currently have.

Anything big is never going to happen according to time travel theory as it stands

If i could go to the future, and was able to pick my date based on technological accomplishment i'd go forward to the successful development of the brain-computer interface. Turning up as an android to your own funeral ftw!

In which case you might as well go around now saying you pinched the name "Websearch" and that Google originally wanted that as its name. The same number of people will believe/disbelieve you either way.

Why do people assume that if you were to go back in time the lottery numbers would be the same? The same draw is done every week using the same machines, the same balls (all placed into the machine in the same order) and yet we get different results every week. So why wouldn't you get different results if you went back in time and re-did the draw?

Betting the same numbers will come up is a massive gamble in itself.
