Hi Gd,

Allow me to pick your brains

My girlfriend works in media and she asked me earlier what kind of shows men like to watch and types of shows men would like to see on TV that haven't been made yet- any thoughts? Apparently it can't be porn related.....

Anyone got any suggestions to get me some brownie points? Cookies for the best ideas!

I like programs about gold and the getting of gold preferably set in Alaska and programs with violence n guns with a fair amount of camo n beards and stuff.

A decent police/detective series without everyone having personal issues to deal with which seems to occupy most of their time and half of the program. The Sweeny springs to mind.

How do you think people get ideas for shows. They ask people questions on what they wanna or are interested in seeing, or alternativly get asked by a company to make a show about them presumably for some free advertising

Also who said it couldnt be about a minority or niche group?
