Terminator franchise reboot

Arnie has no reason to have grey hair

Is that because in the second he says he's living tissue over a metal skeleton frame? So his hair would go grey with age?

Yeah, that trailer made me go see Salvation on release. I genuinely thought it would be an amazing film. I still don't think it was as bad as many people have said, but it wasn't as good as the trailer made it out to be. I still prefer it to Terminator 3 though!

Salvation wasn't completely terrible, but it certainly wasn't anywhere near as good as the trailer made it look (no surprise there given plenty of trailers have made crap films look good). There were some good ideas in there, enough to make a decent film, had only a credible director been involved. Alas, we got McG as the director. :(

Seriously, who thought that the director of Charlie's Angels was a good choice to direct a Terminator film.

Anyway, Salvation will likely seem like a really good Terminator film compared to this new effort, going by how pants it looks in the trailer. From the studio's point of view: If the film is sub par, at least make the trailer so it looks much better than it actually is.

The trouble is, the Genesys trailer doesn't look brilliant :p So by that logic, T5 is going to be garbage! I think that's what we're all expecting, anyhow...

I absolutely will not be seeing this in cinemas unless reviews are awesome :p

I thought it looked ok tbh ......first look was ......cgi was abit off . But on re-watching it a few times the trailer looks ok. And I like the twist in the timeline . I hope they pull it off.

As an 80's kid who loves the sci-fi films of that decade (Terminator, Aliens, Predator, Robocop etc) I'll watch it just to see the final nail being slammed into the franchise coffin lid.

The one Terminator film everyone wanted to see was the future war and sadly we've still only ever seen glimpses of it, although Salvation should have been that film but sadly wasn't :(

Salvation was hilarious in its apparent LACK of any bloody Terminators. I think the only scene in the movie where 2 human style Terminators are on screen is when the arniebot takes out the t600 thats firing wildly near the end of the movie. Besides that there's not much in the way of terminators at all.
