Anyone local happen to know if the McDonalds on Stansted airport grounds (ie the one just off the roundabout outside) is 24/7?

The website seems to infer it is as it shows open 5am-5am daily, which surely means 24/7...

Will be arriving at 4am so would prefer a McBreakfast to what else is available in departures :)

It's open 24/7 but I don't think they start serving breakfast until 5am. This is based on a quick Google rather than personal experience.

You could always phone them up and ask?

Breakfast used to be 6am IIRC at the ones by us, up until then it's a limited night time menu.
It's been a while since I've worked an all night rave and needed their services that early though!

There's a burger king inside the airport and the Pret does decent breakfast rolls etc and you would get to eat closer to your flight. TBH if you eat a Mcdonalds breakfast at 4am before you even clear security you will be hungry again anyway ;)

Thanks all, will check out the burger king menu.

The McBreakfast thing is just a hark back to when we flew mostly from Heathrow, whilst its not the best I recognise, it started to form part of our routine, check in bags, brekkie in McDonalds, it felt like the proper start of our holiday

get to Maccy D's before 5am so you can still have proper burgers,
also unless specified somewhere its unlikely that the BK in the airport will be 24/7

UPDATE:,,.... like the man in the orthopedic shoe, i stand corrected..

They used to do double quarter pounders with cheese at ours on the nighttime menu, Nom!

Whatever happened to people being able to help themselves with stuff like this? Pick up the phone and call them? Honestly!

Thanks for those with comprehension fail, I did check the website and just wanted clarification since it states 5am-5am (as per my original post)

I guess its to fit in with their web design, so they pick a silly time in the morning to start the day, rather than simply putting 24/7
