FGS Origins latest update is stupidly unstable. It also wont let me install BF3

. Says its installed but doesnt update in origin.

Just started downloading BF3... its going to be really odd going back! I think I was only rank 52 or something lol

Mine said I couldn't play on FireFox as it said I hadn't downloaded the DLC's, changed to Chrome and it worked fine because I had downloaded them.

Origin sorry. Haven't even got to the point of troubleshooting battlelog yet

It downloads and 'installs' according to origin but when I go to click play in origin it just shows the option to install it again. Ran in admin mode to no avail. If I attempt to repair the game it verifies says to download it again then freezes and crashes.

Origin sucks lol. Only had the issue since the update clean install didn't help.

EAs unhelp page says to turn off UAC(erm no!) and try again. I fail to see how uac will prevent it from working if I'm running in admin mode.

I left BF3 downloading while I'm at work so it should all be done just in time for you guys to log off. Had to put it on my mechanical HD though, no space on my SSD.

Whats the size of the bf3 folder? it should be about 38.9Gb including dlc.
Worst case scenario delete origin and bf3 folder.clean all registry entries relating to origin and reinstall?

I'm in the process of redownloading it now but it's stuck on finalising one of the DLCs.

I'll check file size when done. Never had this sort of trouble before

There are OcUK Platoons whether they are anything to do with us who knows.

However I am going tag-less this time, cba with the "stacked server" butthurt.

I was pleased when I saw an OCUK'er playing Rush last time, everyone just plays boring conquest.

My internet is still awful so I hope it can hold up for atleast one match.
