your favourite lagers

Whats the hate with Grolsch? I think it's lovely. Never understood why Peroni is that cheeky extra 0.1% than all the other premium lagers :p

Agree about bottles though, too gassy/over priced on tap.

all good, for last one do you mean Jupiler?

I did but I got autocorrected lol. I was in Bruges in November and one of the car re four supermarkets had a jupiler fridge which was like a tv screen but clear.

I like another lager called Kozel too. Think it's Czech.

Lech Pils is good if you can find it.

Lager brewed in the UK seems to be getting lower in alcohol content and it's getting difficult to tell the different brands apart.

Drunk friends. :D

It really is epic lager.

I was in Poland with my car just before Christmas, so I loaded up several of each beer in the supermarket for me and my family to drink.

You'll be pleased to know Debowe, Perla, Tatra mocnes aren't beaten by anything. There was a really nice Porter they did, I can't remember who by that was 8.9%, if you see one give it a go.

That may be true of the generic stuff, but the craft lagers coming out are pretty good.

I'm not a big fan of lager - I'm a real ale man.
A couple that spring to mind that I don't mind drinking are Staropramen and Peroni. I tend not to drink generic lagers - except on holiday where I don't have much choice. I didn't mind the Estrella Damm we had in Ibiza and I can force down a few San Miguels if required.

I'm sure there are more out there that I would like but, as long as I can get my hands on twiggy beer, I'm not likely to experiment all that much.

I don't really like the stronger versions as I find them too sweet, but the Zywiec porter is nice for one or two. My wife drinks Warka strong so usually have them knocking around. I tend to stick to Zywiec or Tyskie in England.

Next time you have your car over there pick up Zamkowe or Namyslow, they are good lagers. Probably a bit harder to find though as they are more regional.
