Hi peps

I heard there is really good evga reps on here that help people out with issues?

Need help with my 6g evga 780 that got sent back to them through another company. They classed the gpu as "not faulty" which is not the case since I have video proof of the noise the card is making at a certain fan speed.

I'm not sure if i would get help since the card wasn't from ocuk?

thanks for the reply guys :) it was just to ask if they have received it okay and see if they'd push it a little bit as this is the 2nd week that the 780 has been away.
 
Same, I have sent of my 970 for a step up. Been out my machine for a week now. They received it mid day Friday and my FTW+ is yet to be shipped. Thankfully I have onboard so I can use it. Just can't play the games I want too

do you mind if I ask how much more you had to pay for the 980?

I have a EVGA 970 I am in the process of sending back to OCUK
 
Its not a 980. Its the 970 FTW+. I paid 12 euros as it was for postage only. should have gone to a 980 but as I only play at 1080p, and can't really afford a 980 I am sticking with the 970 for now.

Go on the EVGA EU website, find your card and the cost it is in Euros on there and then the cost of the 980 you want to go too. That should give you the step up cost.
 
Just so you know I have put in a request to see the prices to step up to a 980. I was looking at the reference as it will exhaust heat out the back but it is more of the pricey cards. I will wait for the email confirming the price of all 980s and let you know.

ahh ok, i had considered the step up as well but as you i don't have the funds to upgrade to a 980.

i may do by June time so for the time being i am going to send back my 970 for a refund and then see what AMD release and see what my funds are like in June

Hi mate

I have spoke with EVGA and to go from my FTW to a 980 reference will cost 187 quid. Can't really afford it but then don't want to have to pay for another card in a few months time. Might as well do it and the reference really is lovely looking.

that's a lot of money.

i got my GPU for £250, think ill send mine back to OCUK for a refund and see what AMD throw out as there is a fair bit of difference is cost from a 970 to 980. just means ive got to use my old gpu for a bit longer :(

Aye mate not cheap. I could have got a ACX version for like 150-160 but as I am bummed I didn't get the reference 970 wanted to make sure I got it his time round.

It saves me having to get a refund or anything and I can now enjoy the best single card there is

that is very true, i will get a new gpu but when is another matter lol

but after everything that has happened it will be brought through OCUK as the customer service is great :)

Yeah, can't knock the customer service of Overclockers or EVGA. Great guy named Robert I spoke to in Germany. Very helpful.
