its chilling isn't it.... 2 people in the taxi injured. how many people can say they have been hit by a passing plane and survived!!! Lucky people.

Unbelievable foot age. I love air travel, but every time I get on a plane, I'm aware should anything go wrong, there's little chance of survival.

This is just rubbish scaremongering. More than half the people on this plane have survived and things go wrong on a daily basis yet rarely does it ever result in death.

If you have a car accident then their is a small chance you'll die
If you have a plane crash their is a small chance you'll live.

Still I wont be driving to the maldives this year.

I won't be flying either but thats because I'm too busy

I don't understand why the pilot chose to roll as he approached the bridge, surely if your going to ditch and you have a looming bridge to get over you'd be going in belly first.

As someone who is petrified of flying I'm questioning my logic behind clicking; firstly this post and secondly the link....

I think he was avoiding the building before the bridge.
 
I can't imagine what must have been going through the pilots and all the passengers minds at the time..Jesus. Absolutely horrifying. I really do hate flying, especially in smaller turboprop planes like the ATR72. Larger jet planes aren't so bad.

You cant see it actually land, but the way it goes down, on concrete that would have been a fireball especially after just taking off and having a lot of fuel

You are statistically more likely to die laughing at an OCUK Moderator decision than you are from a Plane crash. :D
