Quite enjoying this on PS4. As JoiBoi states you really need to squad up as going off alone in an empty car doesn't do you much good (on heist especially). It runs well, pretty slick and smooth. I would very interested to see what SP is like too, if they pull that off it will be buy from me.

Are people getting this on the X1 or PS4? I'll most likely be getting it but want it on whichever platform I know I'll have friends to play with.

PS4 here, most people I know with both are running PS4 version, not sure how it runs on X1 haven't seen it to be honest.

Where's the contradiction? And of course it's subjective, it's my opinion. It's pretty much impossible for such statements to not be subjective. To be clear, I'd love to love this game. The premise sounds great and executed properly it could be brilliant. I just feel that, as it is, the game isn't very good.

I guess it has just hit the spot for you, which is great. Seemingly, the majority of the rest of us don't feel the same way.

From my point of view the linear maps like Op Metro are a lowlight of the series, and a map like Dustbowl with diverse areas, changes in elevation and plenty of scope for travel are a real highlight. Metro is such a linear level yet you praised it for it's openness or whatever, see the contradiction.

Except I didn't. Try reading my post properly. Nowhere did I say Metro and Op: Locker are good because they are open. Quite the opposite, actually. I said they work as indoor maps because there are few routes and loads of choke points.

PS4 for me, tried both versions and the Xbox One version certainly doesn't look or run as smooth as PS4.

Don't think theirs much difference in the Betas, their both the same download.

In fact they are that lazy about this they have made NO improvements to either the PS4 or XO version since BF4, running the exact same despite all the dev kit improvements.

It is faster paced and takes fewer shots to kill, though of course headshots are the way to go. My k/d on foot is 2.4 currently after about 30 rounds, seems to me the game favours the skilled player...

lol...not its not.

The kill count from ANY gun is so small and the blast yields on any of the grenade types make it far easy to get kills. Headshots count for nothing.

LOL how did you work that out? While you rage at your monitor at the last person who shot you in the face?
