NF becoming level 32 shouldn't be an issue as the vendor armour should get the same treatment it saw in DB - Max level -1.

Waiting to May though.... er..... ok.

Moved onto FC4 for a bit now to ensure I don't burn out. Will still play Destiny for raids / NF but, as all my characters are level 32 there is little incentive to keep playing day to day.
 
Yep I'm happy enough just doing raids and occasionally popping on to do some Roc strikes. In a few weeks Homeworld Remastered comes out so that'll use my gaming time for a while.

Might delete my second warlock and level up a titan if the next DLC really is May though.

I got a legendary machinegun and scout rifle i already had (both equipped at the time) so a total of 4 energies for this weeks NF. Time for a different game, I'm sure games shouldn't make you so disappointed ...
 
No Crux for me from CE HM yesterday, got Truth though from Ir Yut and auto rifle from bridge.
I am kinda fed up with the game though, i get all these wow weapons but now i need to level them up and how to do that - just do the same ol bounties. And after i did (Vex looking at you) never used them again. I like how someone called Destiny Barbie for dudes I am starting to get bored of the game.

Oh well i will do some pvp need to get thorn got 150 points so far. I really enjoy pvp and if we set a group one time then im sure it will be more fun.

With the exception of raids and NF's most of the time I am happy to drop from grinding bounties or ROC if people want to get a group for something. PvP is fun as a group so if you want to get a group send an invite, I can teach you in the ways to not to play PvP :D

Yeah grinding the same bounties over and over is boring but you could level up weapons without doing them it would just take a loooooooooooong time. Don't use Vex though?! :eek: It is one of the best weapons in the game, takes up an exotic slot which is annoying for PvE but the small PvP maps you can smash it Vex.

Yeah definitely more fun with people in PvP. Most fun I have had in a while on Destiny was 3 of us needed to play 5 free for all (rumble?) matches so went in and was quite funny trying to kill each other :D

As much as i would like to play VEX (best weapon for me on pvp for now) i cannot use it on raids which is most what i am doing now. Take CE for example, lamps you are running the hole time so VOC is sufficient and you need to snipe (IB or BH) or rocket (GHorn - HoC) the ogre in the end so an exotic slot is already used. Bridges? you need IB and HOC so again no point to have Vex on. Ir yut? IB again unless you are soloing in which case you should use BH since no one is going to mess up the timing for the sniper to proc extra bullets. Crota? Ghorn FTW its idiotic to have Ghorn in MY pockets and use HoC instead. You see the problem? :D. Lets talk about VOG, confluxes if you are not fighting up close the enemies there are better weapons to do the job. Oracles no one runs it from below as its supposed to be so there is IB for you. And with either IB or GHorn you should not do without them at Templar. Maybe at Gatekeeper i could give an excuse and use VEX there but Atheon IB is a must i think, at least till stupid Thunderlord drops anyway.

Sure once gf finishes her normal CE i am up for PVP

It's been a long time since I used my maxed out Gjallarhorn. HoC is almost as capable but doesn't take up the exotic slot. The only time I'd see Gjallarhorn as offering a significant benefit over HoC is for taking out Ir Yut as the wolf pack rounds will ensure she takes max damage while she's floating in the air.
 
Had a quick go at Nightfall Solo early this morning before work, got a 3 bullet sniper that looks poorer than my LDR. Except it's got firefly. So might have to keep it.

Got 2 more characters to do NF and 3 more weekly. Solo shouldn't be too hard, my Warlock could have done it without dying if it weren't for me being impatient at the rush to the Priest bit.
 
People worry too much about what the 'best' weapons are. I switch between

VoC, Fatebringer, MIDA, Red Death, Hard Light, Abyss Defiant, Crypt Dweller SR1, Another NITC

Ice Breaker, Murmur, Purifier (void), Pocket Infinity, Black Hammer, Plan C, Patience & Time, Praedyth's Revenge

MG18 Harm's Way (void), One Way Ticket (void + solar), Gjallarhorn, Super Good Advice, Song of Ir Yut, Hezen Vengeance

They are all good weapons....some are better than others at different ranges/elemental types. I would be using a Vex I bloody had one :mad:

It is interesting you listing your load out as it is a good choice and I can see the logic of those choices but I do it differently at some parts, like the lamps on CE I use the vex as it is easy to kill the thralls while hip firing, then usually use BH and Hezen Vengance. I do have to admit thought my Vex hasn't done much since getting Ghorn as it to much fun rocketing the faces of enemies :D

Edit: Generally I don't think it matter but at times gun choise is really important. Mostly in raids when there are a lot of enemies of NF's with burn. Like, if solar burn is on, is it best to use Vex or Ghorn for your exotic weapon (assuming you have both).

I vary rarely shoot anything in the abyss, so just have mida for speed.

I use the better option of the LDR 5001 with AP rounds for sniping at the bridge.

I use Jelly horn at Ir Yut and Crota.

I also use the LDR 5001 for the sword bearer as well, as he cant hide from me.

It seemed to be a revelation to the last group i played with "he is hiding behind the rock, if he doesnt come out soon its a wipe"
Guys, just shoot him through the rock.

IB is pretty good in this sense, +2 agility and the hit a thrall anywhere big explosion perk. It's what I tend to run around with outside of Mida.
 
One change I would like to see is the class stats having a much higher impact on the game. Real world differences between different setups are pretty minimal at the moment.

I've tried different setups on my Hunter, to no appreciable effect. 3rd subclass is going to be interesting though

Yeah, Icebreaker is the best weapon for the first section(surprisingly). You can take out groups of thralls with one shot if they are grouped close enough, the AoE is that big you may as well be firing grenades.

I've not found agility to be massively important in the first part provided the team sticks together, people generally only die when they get separated and you don't get separated from the rest of the group just because your agility stat is 20% lower than someone elses.
 
I'm so happy - just got my first nightfall done at lvl 30 with my fireteam. Pretty epic stuff - we were clinging on at the end but managed to take the priest down eventually after wiping 3 times. I now have 30 strange coins and 32 motes of light on xur eve - he better have a decent weapon this week - I felt like a kid that got a dodgy Xmas present last Friday. Ice Breaker / Black Hammer / Multi Tool or the G.Horn would do nicely :)
