XBox 360 Pad, XBox One Pad or PS3/4 pad?

PS3 but only because I'm too tight to spend money on a receiver for one of the 5 Xbox 360 I seem to have collected (instead I doom myself to having to remember how to install the PS3 driver every time I need to add it to a new machine).
I might get an Xbox One controller when they make a wireless version for PC.

Throw me a black wireless 360 one? Mine are looking... Tired lol.

It's less than £6!! :D

I would but the only black ones is the wife's and I don't want to upset her lol

Bro's before... lol :P

I do need to buy some new ones, but don't want to simply as MS could release a XB1 wireless receiver any minute now!

Oh.....um I guess I'll buy one then, I swear they used to be £30 or something, many thanks :)

The official ones are about £20 now, from Amazon, but you can get cheap 3rd party ones on ebay (and probably Amazon too). I've had a cheap one for getting on for a year now, and it works fine.

Hi,

Play some steam games now and then. I'm going through: Portal, Portal 2, HL, HL 2 and its various episodes. I'll be playing some more games later: Mortal Kombat, and racing sims.

I prefer to use a game pad. Which one do you recommend? Which one works best out of the box?

i use 360 Wireless.. you can get a cheap receiver off ebay, but out of box probz be better with wired 360 :) ( fro my experience only own xbox360)

I have a £6 knock off receiver. But I cannot get it to sync with any pads (installed the driver and it's listed as working but it's not. Ok it's six quid but it's driving me mad) window's 8.1 btw as I have got the device to run fine on win 7.

I had to force install the driver through device manager. I forget the exact process, but I probably googled it. Win 8.1 here too.

I forced the driver in device manager. And yet the device won't sync with any 360 wireless pads. Plug in official and it's fine obviously. I've gone through googling the remedies but I cannot get the device to sync with pads. When I try it's as if the receiver isn't even connected (it is and the driver is present) It must be a driver issue but nobody can tell me what specific driver I need.
