Best chair for long time gaming

Sorry for high jacking this thread but thought it's a good place to ask.

Can anyone recommend a good quality beanbag for a bedroom. I often listen to music or play console but the beanbags such as the sumo omni look way to big for my room. Wondering if anyone can think of something similar quality but smaller.

Im toying with the idea of just getting a car chair and plonking it on my frame of my old chair

One of those electric Volvo leather seats would be pretty comfy, need a fair bit of room though. I'm a bit fed up of my boring office chair, I hate that the back section moves back and forth (why do they do this?)

I'm still looking for a new one as well, tempted buy the £250 Herman Miller Aeron refurbs on the bay but it's a fair chunk of cash for a used item which I have no idea is legit.

£5 I got off ebay, 4 years on and it's still going strong. I think the reason I like it as it's not a swivel chair and hasn't got casters on it.

I don't think any of the racing style chairs are suitable for sitting at a desk at all, let alone for a long period of time. They are used in performance cars for a specific reason, to stop your body shifting around as you fly around a track. In my opinion a "normal" desk chair is far superior to any chair built to imitate race seats, I don't know about everyone else but I don't experience much lateral movement when I sit at my computer :p

But by owning and using one, you gain 20 points of swag from the get go :p

(I don't own one, therefore lack swag)

Plus you end up swimming in klunge by owning a racing bucket seat at your desk. Have to keep fighting them off whilst im trying to browse the forum.

Damnit here comes another one. One moment..

The amount of mops owners of these chairs get through cleaning their floors once the hordes of women eventually scurry off to sleep is quite frankly unfair.

Ikea Markus.

If you are a "gamer", and "gamer" products appeal to you, I bet you've likely got bad back posture... :D This chair, although it doesn't have tons of padded leather, etc. seen in those "premium" (aka cheap n' nasty) office chairs, it offers great support, and it's damn comfy. Feels like a sturdy product also, comes with a 10 year guarantee, so it will last you ages.

Gas not staying in is quite the inconvenience.

I heard this in barry scotts voice

Just FYI - I tried the Markus and thought it was brilliant at first, but eventually hated it. I mean really, actively did not feel right sitting in it. It's good that IKEA have a decent returns policy but I live way too far away from one to have bothered going back.

I have a big ass, nead a wide seat base. I think DX racer d series is to small for me, probably i go to K series, but i am only 172 cm. What do you think, it will be allright? because chair for 180-200cm people
