I have an old plan c, this will stop me having to glimmer farm to upgrade it. I'm sure the lack of heavy synthetic is random /sarcasm

I will do the same, buy the new plan C and ditch my old one.

I *might* buy the sunbreakers simply for something to upgrade when running anything that rewards XP.

No Heavy synth though.... FFS!

Ice Breaker / Black Hammer / Multi Tool or the G.Horn would do nicely :)

Black Hammer only drops from Crota. It's not an exotic so Xur will never sell it.

Plan C is a nice weapon. I got my 2nd drop from the Gorgon chest this week. The fast charge and hip fire perk in the Crucible is lethal.

Has anybody done an analysis of damage done by weapons?

I always thought that higher level characters do more damage, but this doesn't seem to be the case. I did the weekly last night with my alt 24 Titan and was helped out by my mate with his 31 Hunter. We both have fully buffed Icebreakers and were both doing exactly the same damage on the Archon Priest with headshots; 2940.

Something seems screwy if 7 extra levels makes no difference to damage done.

The stats is destiny are pretty complicated...but put simply, you never do more than 100% damage...so being a level above an enemy doesn't increase damage.

Being *below* means you do less damage. Being the same means you do 100%....being above means....still 100%.

lollers, no heavy synth....feel the rage :D

The Glasshouse - Can't see me ever using it now I have Helm of St 14.
Don't Touch Me - Already own
Sunbreakers - Already own
Plan C - Already own
Exotic Shard - Got enough of already
Engram Gauntlets - Eurgh!

:( Guess my my hoard of strange coins can stay in the vault for another week. So glad I bought hundreds of heavy ammo synths last time he sold them though :)

As mid_gen says you never do more than 100%. Up the level though and you still start doing less, from memory 2 levels under you only 55% of the damage. So if you did a 26 weekly, you would only be doing 1617 damage where your friend would still be doing 2940.

The Glasshouse
Don't Touch Me
Sunbreakers
Plan C
Exotic Shard
Engram Gauntlets

This is the first week there's absolutely nothing for me to spend strange coins on. Usually there's something I don't have or want to upgrade, but not this time. I'll buy the engram just because there's nothing else to spend the motes on.

Which reminds me, with HoW basically confirmed for May, I really hope Trials of Osiris is made available in March.

How many motes do you think we will need in the ToO? Cant think it be that much - Im just spending them for the sake of it atm

ps3ud0

Was hoping for a Warlock helmet with a health regen perk but ah well.

It feels like Xur only sells heavy ammo once a month (at a push) these days. I remember waiting for what felt like ages last time I was running low. Next time he sells Heavy Ammo Synths I'd recommend that you bank all your consumables, then fill your inventory with heavy ammo packs and share them out with your other characters. It cost me between 60-70 coins, I did it mostly out of annoyance over how long it took him to stock them, but it's turned out to be one of the best things I've done.

I wouldn't plan on Xur ever selling them again, atleast until CE HM becomes farmable by most. He was selling them every second week consistently for as long as I can remember. CE HM comes out and all of a sudden heavy ammo synths are nowhere to be seen, no doubt bungie have been paying attention to how Crota is killed and the burst from rockets is a big part of Crota strategies.

hmm, shotgun damage being *doubled* in PvE......might regret sharding the CE one....

But range drop off has also been reduced / increased (whatever means "made worse" in this situation).

The comically bad 4th Horseman has just been made worse. I did like one Bungie forum members idea though - change the shotgun animation to that of our guardian wielding a baseball bat..

Destiny Expansion II: The House of Wolves will be released sometime in the second quarter of this year. If you’re not used to people saying things like “Q2” when they’re measuring time, just rip your annual calendar into four equal parts and scrutinize the second piece. Sometime within those three months (April, May, and June), we’ll have a new adventure to embark upon with you.

Looking like May might be correct...

May is probably right. They are gonna release something in the interim though, they will bleed too many active users before May without some extra content.
