Good sports saloon for £20k (used)?

B7 RS4 avant for me. However, I have a B7 avant diesel already so not sure I want to double every bill for the a very similar car only faster.

Although I like the idea of the M3 Saloon. Shame there isn't a tourer.

I do LOVE the look of the M5 tourer...

Should be able to pick up a good C220/50 AMg edition for that price. Roughly 3/4 years old.

What is it with this thread? The guy's after something like an E60 M5, a 760i V12 or an E63 AMG, a 4 cylinder diesel C Class with 'AMG' on the boot isn't really the same thing.

Unfortunately I think to someone with the name "Swagger187", it is basically the same cause of the remap innint? Low monthly payments too you get me?

Whats wrong with offering an opinion. Seems the motors section is full of people like you. 200+ bhp from a diesel isn't exactly slow either. Last time I checked you could get petrol options too. Oh well, be put right by a know it all ;)

It's not slow, no, but he's looking at 500-600bhp cars, surely you can see how different an C220 CDI AMG Sport is to an E63 AMG?

Yes but I struggle to see what kind of quality E63 you would get for 20K

True enough, I've spotted one naff looking 100k miler e63 in Yeovil at budget on a brief AT search which I doubt the OP would want but, numerous M5's at way below that mileage...
I think Fox's point - rightly - is the OP isn't going to discount that idea in favour of a four pot diesel C class instead of something like an M5 given his requirements in his post is he?

nothing would ever make me touch a V10 E60, great car but unreliable has hell with massive bills

Hugely expensive to run, undoubtedly and as for the reliability, well, it's a risky prospect for sure.

I know two e60 M5 owners personally, ones had his 09 plate from new and it's passed 100k with no issues bar a clutch at 72k miles the other is a 57 plate iirc that's been a world of pain for its owner although he didn't buy it from new and it had 5 previous owners (wonder why?)

I'd love one one day, but think if ever I did it would be a short and probably fiscally at least, not sweet experience!

I am liking the notion of an Audi more and more... Great looking cars, apparently reliable. It's just my stupid brain tells me that I wouldn't enjoy the drive? Not sure why... I might go do a test drive.
