Lovely looking card, anyone got some user shots?

It's a great card, I absolutely love it. It's handled everything I've thrown at it with ease, @1440p too! It oesn't quite fit in with my MPower board, but once Broadwell is here I'm swapping it out for the Sabertooth Mark S that I've had since December.
It's nice and quiet, runs very cool and as far as I can tell there's no coil whine. The backplate is gorgeous too, I really like the way it looks and it keeps the card nice and straight too, which is always a bonus. £320 well spent I reckon.![]()
Thanks guys, glad you like it!
I think you may be right, I'm sure I've read it's the fastest out of the box, at least. Glad I haven't run into the 3.5gb issue, I'd like to run this card for a couple of years if possible. Just hope they keep making HOF variants in the future!![]()
If I was you, I'd stick with that card, see how future games impact on the 970, and if it works perfectly, get a 2nd!
See that's what I'm thinking anyway. I don't really play new games, haven't bought a game the same years it's been released in a long time. As such, all the games I have run brilliantly. The only game I'm remotely interested in this year so far is GTAV, so I'll have to wait and see how I get on.
I don't mind turning a couple of settings down to get the best performance anyway, so I think I'll be alright. I play with the FPS counter turned off, less to be distracted by. I've found that when it's on I care more about how well the game is running than I do what is happening in the game!![]()
Just got rid of my Asus Strix gtx 970 for coil whine and got this bad boy. I must say I love this card. It looks amazing, runs everything silky smooth and keeps cool under high load. battlefield 4 1080p ultra temps are around 50 where as the Asus card was around 70.
I just want to say also I have always bought my pc parts from a local company but after all the gtx 970 problems that gibbo and overclockers have sorted out I will now be using overclockers. There customer service is fantastic and even on the phones they are very helpful and funny too. The hof card had just gone up in price to 335 so I phoned overclockers and they dropped the price to the original price as I missed it by an hour. Top quality service and I will always tell people to use overclockers.

I was quite literally about to pick up a couple of these for sli 4k. With all the 4gb vram nonsense recently I've held off. The 980 hofs are unreasonably expensive as well. A right pain as the White pcb and shroud would be perfect for my rig (currently modding a thermaltake urban s71 with a gloss white finish).
Have you experimented with 4k? Or just at 1440p? Any micro stuttering ? Cheers

^ looks awesome regardless though if you ask me!
After an i7, a g-sync monitor is the next upgrade for me.![]()
