Anyone got any ideas on how to earn a bit of spare money, legally ofcourse! Just bought some built in wardrobes and my dog had an operation on its back which is costing me over £4k. It is insured but it had an operation last year which was £6.5k and the insurance only covers it to £7500. Currently working 6 - 7 days a week so another job is most likely a no no. Also got tax and MOT this month. It seems like everything came at once.

Matched betting, easy couple £hundred over a week using new account bonus offers.

Sell some stuff on ebay or the MM.

My friends at university did a lot of betting and made some decent money, one saved up enough to buy a macbook pro purely from his betting accounts however it is a slow build up if you start with a small amount. They are on one of those facebook groups where you have to pay an amount every month and you get good tip offs. Works for them.

Dear OP, please don't take up gambling because one person has made it appear like it's free money.

****ing hell mate. Best advice, do not get a dog once this ones dead unless you can treat it like one. £11500 on a canine. Plenty of less developed countries dont spend that on a person through their whole life.

start a business... think of something you enjoy doing or are good at, think of something that is often hard to buy for it, source from far east (start small and cheap), sell for profit.

you could easily do above on a few £100, and before you know it have a very good second income.

you could also buy from far east, add value to it via extras you include with product... sell for far more.

even better invent something, make it yourself, profit!!

I used to repair smashed laptop screens. Cost of new screen £40 I used to charge £100 for a repair. 15 minutes to swap them out.

5 a day - easy money - do the math. Of course laptops are dying, the action is in iPhone screens.....

Made £90 in about half an hour today through matched betting - you need about £200 spare to start off but it's almost entirely risk free (read: follow the instructions carefully and you can't lose). I use www.fixtheodds.com to tell me what to bet on and so far it's been faultless.

I'd agree entirely with the "don't gamble for profit" advice, but matched betting is more statistics and legally screwing bookies for free bet offers than gambling - completely different kettle of fish.

Side note - mods, hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting that link - feel free to delete if so!

He's like part of the family at the end of the day and he's only 3 so I just like to give them another chance at life! Maybe I'm just getting soft in my old age haha... I'll have a look at that link Glass. Maybe I'll just remortgage the house to pay it.. Or take a loan from the bank.

Did you notice the plural part of the word friends?

It wasn't one person. 3 of my friends that I lived with at uni did it all successfully. He's asking for suggestions and it is a way to make money obviously there is risk involved, it's gambling. But perhaps you should educate yourself on matched betting which is pretty close to risk free.

Matched betting is not gambling.

I made approx £500 before I ran out of offers or the only ones left were the ridiculously complicated cumalative bet qualifiers.

Easiest £500 I've ever made and only took me about 3 weeks - actually quite enjoyed it.

I'm very interested in this thread, this matched betting lark seems like the perfect thing for me to do on quiet night shifts. Are there any other tips or tricks?

As above I got £100 for swapping to Halifax and they do everything for you. Sell some stuff old games / movies / bits and bobs lay around.

Good luck and please ignore all advice related to killing the dog.

i run my own blog in my spare time, have a decent risk free offer for a new casino, normally they are riddled with t+c's and not worth the effort, and i wouldn't bother sharing them here..

http://wild-reels.com/hello-casino-50-free-spins-no-deposit/

50 Free spins (value €12.50) no wagering requirement , no deposit, min withdrawal is €25 that's the only requirement (max Cashout €150 from freebie offer)

Again if this isn't allowed feel free to nuke my post.
