Warning X99 Gaming 7 H70 bios

If You have H60 bios and its working fine DO NOT BOTHER with H70 that came out few days ago.. Could not get it stable with Rock solid OC i got on H60.

So save Yoursefl few hours of life and dont update if you dont need to. Wasted 3 hours messing about before reverting instead of playing dragon age :/
 
Yup works in this case on that norte i upgrade everything i got to newest firmware. Gotta love that thrill when You are starting up phone after flashing custom rom :D

Have not been able to overclock and keep speedstep , have you?
What settingd for 4.5 are you running in bios- would be helpful if yiu could advuse/provide s screen shot:)
Been wary of updating bios - how do you do it?
 
Been running H70 for a while now, long before I saw this thread. Not noticed any particular OC issues, still happily stable at 4.5 with 1.285V (Not yet managed 4.6 stable, needs over 1.3V at least ... but had that problem with H60 as well).
 
russell664 depends what i am after tbh. I like Simplified stripped down roms for battery life :)

Shiari for stable 4.4 I need 1.3 on my CPU poor clocker i got

AgedIdiot for 4.5 I run 1.38vcore :D can post screenshots if you want.
 
I have a dog of a chip, but mine isn't x99, not got enough money. :(

I tend to just cherry pick the features I want from other gerrits, and build my own ROM. Works really well, as everything I want is there, and what I don't want I can get rid of. :D
